The plush is long pile, the kind cats knead at, and the whole thing goes in the washing machine, which no structured bed with a rigid frame can do. It works for cats and small dogs alike.

Does it hold its shape as a bed?

Folded, it forms raised sides and a tunnel opening. It is soft rather than rigid, so it moulds around your cat rather than standing stiff.

Can it go in the dryer?

Air drying is safer for long plush. Tumble drying flattens the pile over time.

Will it fit a small dog?

Yes, small breeds fit comfortably. Anything medium or larger will be too big for the folded size.
