Solid Wood Cat Bed

A Cat Bed You Can Leave in the Living Room

Most cat beds are made to be hidden. Bright plastic, printed fabric, something you move out of sight before guests arrive. This one is a solid wood frame with clean lines, closer to a small piece of furniture than a pet accessory, so it can sit in the middle of a room without clashing with it.

Your cat gets something out of the design too. The frame lifts the bed off the floor, which means air moves underneath, it stays away from cold tiles in winter and draughts at ground level, and your cat gets the slight elevation they instinctively prefer for keeping an eye on a room.

The cushion lifts out and goes in the machine, so cleaning is a two minute job rather than a reason to replace the whole thing. The wooden frame just needs a wipe.

Common Questions

Does it need assembling?

The frame arrives ready to use with the cushion in place. Follow any instructions included in the box.

Will my cat actually use an open bed?

Cats who like height and visibility usually prefer an elevated open bed to an enclosed one. Cats who hide tend to go for a covered igloo instead.

How do I clean the cushion?

Lift it out and machine wash it. Air dry rather than tumble dry to keep the shape.
