Fleece Inside, Waterproof Outside

Dogs come home wet. From the rain, from the beach, from a puddle they walked through on purpose. A fabric bed soaks that up and holds it, and within a few weeks it smells.

This one is built in two layers. The inside is polar fleece, soft and warm, the part your dog feels. The outside is 600D Oxford fabric, the same hard wearing material used for outdoor gear, and it is waterproof. Damp paws and spills sit on the surface instead of sinking into the filling.

The sides are raised to create a nest shape, which dogs lean into rather than sprawl across, and the base is padded so there is real cushioning underneath rather than a thin sheet over the floor. Four sizes run from small breeds up to large dogs.

Common Questions

Can I leave it outside?

The outer handles rain and damp, but it is designed for indoor use or a covered outdoor area such as a veranda, not for permanent exposure to the weather.

Is the waterproofing on the whole bed or just the base?

The Oxford outer covers the bed, so spills on the sides and base are handled. The fleece lining itself is absorbent, as it is the surface your dog lies on.

Which size should I choose?

Measure your dog lying curled and add roughly 15 cm. The raised sides take up some of the internal space, so size up if your dog is between two sizes.
